In the year 2000, a meteorite fell on the Antarctic, causing the greatest catastrophe in recorded history, the “Second Impact.” 15 years later, a new crisis strikes humanity: the onslaught of the “Angels.” To combat the Angels, humanity develops the “Evangelion,” a general-purpose humanoid decisive weapon. Now begins the battle of three boys and girls chosen to pilot it.
