The story begins when the protagonist, Takemichi Hanagaki, a part-time worker, learns that his ex-girlfriend, Hinata Tachibana, has been killed in a conflict within the Tokyo Manji Gang. Just as he prepares to die, he time-leaps back to his high school days. In order to save Hinata, he repeatedly returns to the present and repeats the time-leaps, replaying the past, as he struggles to change the future of the criminal organization, the Tokyo Manji Gang.
