大都会の北のはずれ、下赤塚に「あかつか探偵事務所」はある。その裏側の路地にある喫茶店でヒマそうにコーヒーをすする男、彼こそが泣く子もだまる名探偵（？）、ハリネズミこと七瀬五郎。カンは鋭いが情に脆く、映画にでてくるいわゆる名探偵とはひと味違う。都会の片隅に埋もれる心の闇を調査する男、ハリネズミの“探偵物語”。　浮気、蒸発、殺人……　荒廃した社会の中に一条の光を求め、ハリネズミは走る！

Akatsuka Detective Agency is located in Shimo-Akatsuka, on the northern outskirts of the big city. A man sipping coffee in a coffee shop in an alley behind the agency is none other than the great detective (?), Hedgehog, or Nanase Goro. He has a sharp sense but is easily moved by emotions, making him different from the so-called great detectives you see in movies. This is the “detective story” of Hedgehog, a man who investigates the darkness of people’s hearts buried in the corners of the city. Infidelity, disappearance, murder… Hedgehog runs in search of a ray of light in a devastated society!
